FAQs

Q:What can I expect on my first visit?
A: You can expect a safe place where you can come as you are. You will find a friendly and casual atmosphere with great music, quality media, and messages that make sense!

Q:Is there a dress code?
A: No, there is no dress code, just come as you are.

Q:Where can I park?
A: We have a car park at the Kerith Centre that is specifically for our disabled, elderly, and guests. Feel free to use it as you discover Kerith.
Additional parking for regular attenders is also available at AVIS which is a short walk away. Click on the link opposite for more details.

Q: I'm not a Christian. Is it still all right for me to come to your church?
A: Yes, you are more than welcome! Kerith is a place where you can come and discover more about God. We welcome your questions as you journey towards finding a personal relationship with God. You will find this a safe place to uncover the answers to your spiritual questions.

Q: I have kids. Do you have activities for them?
A: We are passionate about children and students and believe in their potential. We offer a wide range of safe and quality programmes for your children ranging from babies through to teens.

Q: Do you provide signing for the deaf?
A:  We do offer signing every Sunday for the deaf community. We have a team of level  2-4 signers who provide communication access at the 11am meeting.

Q:Do you have facilities for the disabled?
A: Kerith provides disabled parking spaces in the car park. We have a wheelchair accessible ground floor including disabled toilet facilities and there can be reserved seating for wheelchairs in the auditorium. We also provide two ministries that are uniquely for special needs. Konnections seeks to serve and support children with special needs and their families. Hilltop meets once a month and is specifically for adults with learning disabilities

Q: Are you going to ask me for money?
A: No, we will not ask for your money. We do have an offering every week, but it is not intended for our guests. Kerith is supported financially by the people who have chosen to make it their church home. We’d like you to keep your money and offer the service as our gift to you.

Q: Will I be called out or embarrassed?
A:  No. This is a safe place and you will not be called out or embarrassed at all! We would like to invite you to come and meet some new faces after the service in our Connect lounge. We also offer coffee and tea after the meetings to give you a chance to meet people, if you like.
