| Reconnecting | | I want to tell everyone about my wonderful weekend - on Saturday night I had a reunion with some of the people I did my Nurse Training with. It's been 21 years since we last connected as I moved away soon after qualifying in 1988. We met in Bath and had an amazing time - I haven't laughed so much and so hard for a long time.
We all look so grown up its scary! As we talked (and talked and talked!) time sped back so when I returned from the loo I found myself taken aback at these older people sitting on our table!
A beautiful evening that was God sent and I am so thankful for.
I prolonged the magic by staying overnight with one of the girls and finished the time off nicely with a coffee by the canal. This friend however needs some prayers as she has cancer- luckily its stable just now - but its through her body and brain. She has strong faith and is a lay preacher in a traditional church in her village. Please send up your thoughts and wishes for her and her daughters as she's a special lady x Thankyou x
